Warranty and returns policy
By making a purchase in the online store DIMAX.LV, the consumer enters into a distance contract and has the right to return the purchased product within 14 days from the date of receipt in accordance with Paragraph 19 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 of the Republic of Latvia “Regulations on Distance Contracts.”
Products may only be returned in full set and in their original packaging (provided that the product has not been used and its commercial appearance and consumer properties have been preserved, including intact packaging and labels). From the moment the product is put into use, the buyer confirms that the product complies with the order and is not eligible for return.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, please contact DIMAX.LV by phone: +371 67212424 or by email: ask@dimax.lv. Products must be returned to Dimax Boutique (Vaļņu 1, Riga, LV-1050). A completed return form and a copy of the purchase document must be submitted. The return form may also be sent by email (Withdrawal form download available here; for the form in Russian, click here).
Please note that, under Latvian law, the “withdrawal form” is accepted only in the official state language.
In case of withdrawal, the amount paid for the product will be refunded to the specified account no later than 14 days.

Warranty
Our online store DIMAX.LV sells only original watches, each covered by an international warranty of varying duration (the addresses of service centers and warranty terms are included in the accompanying documentation).
DIMAX.LV itself does not provide warranty servicing:
• If the service center providing warranty service is located outside Latvia, the seller arranges shipment of the product to such a center;
• If the service center is located within Latvia, the buyer is directed to that center.
The warranty does not cover:
• repair of bracelets, straps, or clasps;
• replacement of the power cell included with the product (provided to confirm product functionality); the battery’s shelf life may differ from that indicated in the manual;
• product cleaning;
• glass repair or replacement, case or dial repair;
• repair of buttons, crown, or rollers;
• preservation or restoration of the original surface coating of the case or clasp (gilding, silvering, metallization of plastic parts).
The buyer’s claim shall be deemed unfounded if:
• mechanical damage to the product is found, including engraving;
• the damage results from exposure to temperature fluctuations (e.g., sauna, steam bath, ice swimming), including condensation;
• the damage results from active sports activities (e.g., water skiing, volleyball, martial arts);
• the damage is caused by water, aggressive chemical environments (acids, alkalis), or electromagnetic exposure;
• the damage is caused by careless use or non-compliance with the watch’s operating instructions;
• the product is used for purposes other than those intended.
The following are not considered product defects:
• deviation of the hour or minute hand of less than 0.5 minute divisions (when set to 12:00 position);
• allowable deviation of the second hand of quartz watches within 0.5 divisions;
• allowable accuracy deviation for mechanical watches up to –20/+40 seconds per day; allowable accuracy deviation for quartz watches up to ±30 seconds per month.
